A press release issued by the office of Agriculture Minister Thanee Jayakumar has said in this regard.

According to the Agriculture Minister of Puducherry, 3936 general category farmers who cultivated paddy in the 2021-22 Sambha and Thaladi seasons in Karaikal district have been credited with Rs. 2,77,60,267 as crop production incentives since yesterday.

Similarly, Rs.7,00,860 has been credited to the bank accounts of 79 schedule category farmers who cultivated Kuruva in 2022-23 as crop production incentive.
