Coimbatore: The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) will direct 42 area level rivalries and 8 zonal level contests in Coimbatore for the cooperation of school and understudies, in an unexpected way abled, overall population and government workers said District Collector Sameeran.
The area level contests will be coordinated in January and February, while the state-level rivalries will be held in May.
At the area level, different contests including Kabaddi, silambam, games, b-ball, badminton, football, hockey, swimming, volleyball, table tennis will be held.
Overall class, people in the age gathering of 15 to 35 years, school understudies in the age gathering of 12 to 19 years and undergrads of 17 to 25 years are qualified to partake in these contests.
Likewise, there is no age limit for in an unexpected way abled and government representatives to partake in contests.
Coimbatore District Collector Sameeran has said that sportspersons who wish to participate in the Chief Minister’s Cup for sports can register their names through the website www.sdat.tn.gov.in till January17.
